Hugh Benford Perkinson (Bimpy), 86, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Monday, May 1, 2023, ECU Health North Hospital.
Mr. Perkinson was born in Halifax County, NC the son of the late, Hubert G. Perkinson and Ruth Keeter Perkinson. His wife, Edna Arnette Perkinson, daughter, Emily Ruth Perkinson, sister, Barbara Robinson, also preceded Hugh in death. Hugh was a US Airforce Veteran and worked as a Pipe Draftsman.
Surviving are three Daughters; Sheryl Broussard (Dean), Iris Ferguson (Darrel), Donna Dumesnil (Jack), sister, Bonnie Molineux (Allen), Billy Robinson (spouse of Barbara) with 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Wrenn Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
A graveside service will be held at Cedarwood Cemetery on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.
